How does treatment and rehabilitation planning help?
As mentioned above we are trying to optimise your recovery process and allow you to return to normal activities by:
- Improving muscle strength and flexibility
- Improving range of motion, ease and quality of movement
- Improving coordination and control of movement
- Relieving pain and eliminating it
- Decreasing swelling and inflammation
- Helping patients to develop coping strategies with chronic pain to enable normal movement patterns
- Programming exercise plans to assist with recovery and prehabilitation to eliminate re-injuring yourself, either home or gym based
- Improving patient's day to day level of independence and self-sufficiency
